Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, rooms are based on small complexes, away from the main building. Rooms itself were spacious, and well decorated, but the view from our balcony was not very good (over looking generator). Public areas of the hotel well vety well maintained, with the pool area being spacious, and plenty of sunbeds available.due to late arrival had meal at the hotel on the first night, found it to be reasonably priced, and of a fair quality, but drinks were fairly expensive, both wine and beer. Hotel has a very good location, with a few restraunts nearby, one of which was the La Seista which was very reasionably priced, with a very friendly staff (approx 30 mins walk).

My parents and I recently stayed at the Sierra Silvana for two nights while we were visiting Alberobello and Ostuni. My parents are elderly and my mother has mobility issues. When we first arrived at the hotel I was a little taken a back by the set up. The main building houses registration, meeting rooms, a bar, a banquet room, and the hotel dining room. All guest rooms are housed in separate buildings away from the main building. I was panicked, because I felt that my mother would not be able to walk between the buildings. The front desk graciously allowed me to use their wheel chair for the duration of our stay. This was a pleasant and unexpected surprise, which made our stay very easy. The hotel is situated in an upscale residential neighborhood called Selva di Fasano. The neighborhood is perched on a hill overlooking the city of Fasano. The grounds can only be described as parklike. Because the buildings containing the guest rooms are scattered around the perimeter of the property, there is extensive lawn and lots of wonderful mature trees. Although it was too cold to use the pool, it looked divine. The pool is large and the deck around it is very spacious with lounge chairs and canopies for shade in the summer. We ate in the dining room both nights. We found the staff courteous and the food very good. Dinner is two courses and costs 25 Euros per person. Both courses are large and for the normal eater, it is too much food. If you are traveling with a spouse or partner, I would suggest that if you can agree upon the same dinner selection, you can easily split dinner and have more than enough for two people. We drank a red wine while we were at the hotel restaurant that has Castle del Monte on the label. It is a delightfully smooth red, and I recommend it without reservation. I only wish I had brought a case home to the States. If you are looking for a nice reasonably priced 4-star hotel in a quiet/safe neighborhood, please book a room here.
